General rules:
The total shipping cost have two parts:
A minimum or fixed part, related to common tasks (checking, packaging,
invoicing, handling, etc)
A variable part depending on its weight and volume (including packaging)
When ordering accessories, spare parts or tools, at the same time of other
products, only the variable cost will be added to the previous shipping cost.
When ordering several accessories, spare parts or tools, the fixed cost
will be charged only once and the variable cost will be charged according to
the total weight and volume.
The variable cost is the higher of two quantities: the cost calculated
according to the weight (in kilograms) and the cost calculated according to
the volume (in liters). In general, the cost will be charged according to the
weight, but in voluminous packages the shipping companies and couriers apply
different equivalence rates. Usually, in express or by air services 1 m3 = 167
kg, international services by sea 1 m3 = 333 kg and by road 1 m3 = 270 kg.
