Availability and delivery time

Not all of the items listed on our site are available immediately. We publish standard availability, which means that this product usually ships in that time since it has been ordered. But at the specific time of your order, that interval can be longer or smaller depending on many production factors.

 In addition, you still will have to wait for your product to arrive (delivery time).

So, You are in a hurry…

You might want a present for Christmas, a new project for summer holydays or an instrument for the recording of an new album.

We all are becoming accustomed to everything published in the internet being available immediately and ready for dispatch. Almost imperceptibly we are acquiring the habit of leaving online purchases for the last minute. Internet is an easy and quick communication system but there is live beyond the internet, and that live is standard.

Remember that we are a small group of craftsmen making every part of our musical instruments in the traditional way, with traditional materials which could take months to get ready to be worked. Our catalogue is vast and we try to held in stock the majority of components for the instruments, so we can make them in shorter time. Even having all the parts on the selves, we need some days to complete the kits and some weeks to complete the instruments. If your product need that special part made of that difficult-to-buy material that we get from a foreign provider that specifically produces it for us in small quantities only once a year, or if we are busy working on previous orders, you will have to wait more.

So, please, do not assume that you will get your instruments some days after placing your order. That only will happen in a number of cases. In others, at that time you'll only receive our answer about the possibility to provide you in the shorter possible time.

You shouldn't buy your instrument when you are in a hurry. Your dreamed instrument or kit cannot be available at this moment, there can be a delay in the shipment, you will need some time to get accustomed to your new instrument, etc. Except if you are a skilled instrument maker, assume that getting a good instrument from a kit is not difficult, but it will take more time than you had estimated.

In addition to the time that we need to prepare your order you have to take into account the shipment and the customer's clearance. In exceptional cases due to delays of the haulage or for security reasons at the customs in your country, depending on the destination, the shipping can take up to eight weeks. Once the parcel leaves our premises, we cannot control the shipment, but we will do our own to help you to know when the parcel will be delivered.

If you really need your instrument shortly, please, ask about its availability. We will do all our own to satisfy your demand, but we cannot guarantee an accurate delivery date with less tolerance than some weeks.

Delivery estimates

The estimated shipping dates are based on several factors, including the destination address, the shipping options you've chosen, and how quickly we can obtain and assemble items for shipment (the availability time listed on a product's detail page). Also, orders for multiple items or multiple copies of a single item can take longer to assemble before we're able to ship them to you.

We calculate delivery estimates by taking the estimated shipping date and adding the time it takes a package to travel from our facilities to your destination address.

International customers: When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.

What if the estimated delivery date has passed and I still don't have my order?

Orders shipped via a traceable method will have tracking information available. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:

If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your neighbours or family members. Packages are occasionally left with neighbours, a building manager, or are placed somewhere relatively safe such as your porch, garage, or even behind bushes.

If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.

If there is no tracking information, or you cannot locate the package and it is not being returned as undeliverable, please e-mail us.
